Are the Los Angeles Dodgers on the brink of a dynasty? Oddsmakers certainly think it's possible.

On the heels of clinching the eighth championship in franchise history, the Dodgers are favored to win the 2025 World Series with +400 odds at BetMGM.

Those odds give the Dodgers considerable distance between the next closest teams, the runner-up New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves at +800 each. No other team is shorter than 10-1. The Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies at +1100 each round out the top five.

It makes sense for the Dodgers to lead the pack considering the star power they have returning, including World Series MVP Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts and of course Shohei Ohtani, who should be available to pitch again next season.

The structure of Ohanti's contract should also allow the Dodgers to pursue more stars in free agency, with Juan Soto of particular interest, according to the New York Post's Jon Heyman. The rich may get richer very soon.

The only thing working against the Dodgers might be history. MLB hasn't had a repeat champion since the Yankees in 1999 and 2000.
