District championship roundup: See which baseball and softball teams won titles Thursday

District championships in high school baseball and softball were settled across Palm Beach County on Thursday night and several local squads hoisted trophies.

Catch up with all of the county's winners below:

Baseball District Finals

District 11-7A

After falling behind 3-1 in the top of the second, Jupiter (15-7) exploded for six runs to capture a district title with an 11-3 victory.

Senior Tyler Johnson had two doubles and three RBIs while sophomore Ryan Senecal also drove in three. The senior pitching trio of Jaxon Inouye, Broc Bronson and Zach Lebenson allowed just six hits and struck out 11.

District 14-5A

Suncoast trailed American Heritage-Plantation 4-0 after the top of the fourth but exploded for six runs to grab a 6-4 advantage through four innings.

The Patriots took the wind out of the Chargers with six runs in the top of the fifth, however, en route to an 11-6 district final victory.

Nathan Stafford and Aidan Arjune had doubles for the Chargers (20-7), who are likely to qualify for the FHSAA state playoffs despite the loss.

District 13-4A

Jensen Beach scored in the majority of innings to run away from American Heritage-Delray 11-0 in the district final. The Stallions will await their regional fate in Friday's FHSAA selection show.

District 8-1A

Glades Day struck for three runs in the first inning but Williston's four fourth-inning runs proved decisive as the Red Devils defeated the Gators 6-3 in the district final.

Junior Blake Barnes had two doubles and two RBIs for the Gators (15-8) in the loss.

Softball District Finals

District 13-7A

Park Vista put up a crooked number in each of the opening four innings to rout Boca Raton 12-0 in the district championship.

Senior Chloe Fariello and junior Nicole Mergen each hit home runs for the Cobras (18-5-1) while sophomore Hannah Durante had a double and three RBIs.

District 12-6A

Seminole Ridge scored three unanswered runs in the sixth and seventh innings to defeat Dwyer 6-4 in the district championship.

Junior Grace Rawn had a home run and two RBIs while junior Maya Moro had a double and three RBIs for the Hawks (12-9-1).

Sophomore Kayla Sejnoha hit a home run and had two doubles with three RBIs in the loss for the Panthers (11-13).

District 13-3A

Junior pitcher Aubrey Wurst hurled a two-hitter and American Heritage-Delray scored two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth to defeat King's Academy 5-0 in the district final.

Wurst struck out 12 batters in the victory for the Stallions (9-5).

District 14-2A

Westminster Academy scored 10 runs in the first inning en route to a 15-0 district final win over Boca Raton Christian. The Blazers end the year at 5-8.
