Star linebackers Danny Stutsman and Jaren Kanak unveiled a pair of matching “Horns Down” tattoos on their right thighs after OU’s 34-30 victory. The apparent new ink drew plenty of responses from both Texas fans and haters on social media sites, including the oft-asked question of whether Stutsman and Kanak would enjoy seeing the Hook ‘em sign whenever they sat down.

Stutsman explained the reason for the tattoo, below.

But on Monday, Stutsman posted another picture with the hashtag #gotcha, which showed no tattoo on his thigh. Apparently, the original post of a temporary tattoo was just a postgame troll of Texas fans.

Kanak had a team-high 13 tackles, including a sack, while Stutsman finished tied for third with nine tackles.
