Detroit Tigers sign Bligh Madris to minor league contract with invite to spring training
Remember Bligh Madris?
The 27-year-old corner outfielder, who also plays first base, was a blip on the radar last offseason, but he spent about five weeks on the Detroit Tigers' 40-man roster.
Last offseason, the Tigers claimed Madris off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays in mid-November, designated him for assignment in late December and traded him to the Houston Astros for cash considerations in early January.
Now, Madris is back with the Tigers.
