Detroit Lions sign 4 Day 3 draft picks: Manu, Vaki, Wingo, Mahogany
The Detroit Lions signed all four of their Day 3 draft picks before the start of rookie minicamp Friday.
The Lions announced the signings of fourth-round choices Giovanni Manu and Sione Vaki, and sixth-round choices Mekhi Wingo and Christian Mahogany.
All draft picks receive slotted four-year contracts under the current collective bargaining agreement.
According to OverTheCap.com, Manu's deal is worth a total value of $4.745 million and includes a $725,656 signing bonus, Vaki's deal is worth $4.548 million and includes a $528,700 signing bonus, Wingo's deal is worth $4.208 million with a signing bonus of $186,800 and Mahogany's deal is worth $4.158 million with a signing bonus of $138,396.
The Lions have two remaining unsigned draft picks, their top two choices: First-rounder Terrion Arnold and second-rounder Ennis Rakestraw Jr.
As the 24th pick of the draft, Arnold will get a four-year contract worth $14.344 million, with a team option for 2028. Rakestraw, Pick No. 61, is due a contract of $6.48 million.
Rookie camp runs Friday-Sunday in Allen Park.
