Welcome to Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season, which began Thursday night with the Dallas Cowboys defeating the New York Giants, 20-15.
The Lions do not play on Sunday; instead they will host one of the NFL's two Monday Night Football games this week.

Do the Lions play today?
No. The Lions do not play today (Sunday). However, they are apart of the NFL's doubleheader on Monday night, when the Lions host the Seattle Seahawks at Ford Field. The game will be broadcast nationally and locally on ABC and streamed on ESPN+ (sign up offer).
The Seahawks enter Week 4 as one of five unbeaten teams, joining Buffalo, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Minnesota. They have defeated the Lions the previous two seasons in early-season games at Ford Field (both Week 2).
In 2023, the Seahawks won 37-31 in overtime on Tyler Lockett's 6-yard touchdown reception from Geno Smith, who was 32 of 41 passing for 328 yards and two touchdowns.

In 2022, the Seahawks won another shootout in Detroit, 48-45, as Smith threw for 320 yards and two scores.
This time, the Lions have a key advantage, according to Free Press sports writer Jared Ramsey in his game prediction.
The Tennessee Titans visit the Miami Dolphins in the other Monday night game (7:30 p.m., ESPN).
