Detroit Lions injury updates on Amon-Ra St. Brown, Alex Anzalone, Terrion Arnold

Alex Anzalone felt "pretty good" a day after suffering a brain injury in the Detroit Lions' 20-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Lions coach Dan Campbell downplayed any concern about the health of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Terrion Arnold after they suffered injuries Sunday.

“Alex’s deal, you never know," Campbell said Monday in Allen Park. "I know he felt pretty good today, relative to what that was, so that’s always a positive. But we’ll see. We’ll have to take that day to day. And I think T.A., nothing significant on the finger. He should be good."

Anzalone was injured in a helmet-to-helmet collision with teammate Derrick Barnes on Baker Mayfield's 11-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter, and was ruled out for the game after being evaluated for a concussion.

The Lions' leading tackler in Week 1, Anzalone will have to be cleared by an independent neurologist before he returns to game action. The Lions play at the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday (4:25 p.m., Fox).

Arnold left the game briefly with a finger injury on his left hand, but returned and finished the game with a heavy tape job or soft cast on his finger.

St. Brown left on the Lions' final series with cramping and a lower-leg injury that Campbell termed a "soft-tissue" injury on Monday.

"He'll be good," Campbell said.
