Detroit Lions going with white jerseys, pants for NFC title game vs. San Francisco 49ers
The battle outfit is selected.
The Detroit Lions are going with the all-white uniform combination for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers, one that has proven victorious more times than not this season.
The team will wear white jerseys, white pants, white socks and silver helmets in the matchup that, with a win, vwould send the Lions to the 2024 Super Bowl, their first ever.
The team announced the selection on social media with a post saying: "Bringing ice to the Bay."

The outfit combination has a promising record: 5-1. The Lions wore the same look during wins against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1, Green Bay Packers in Week 4, Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10 and New Orleans Saints in Week 13.

The only time they lost in that uniform combination was Week 17 to the Dallas Cowboys, which diehard fans would argue the Lions actually won.
You can see them in the bright white again when the game airs at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on Fox.
