Detroit Lions' defense strong again in 20-6 win at Tampa Bay, their fourth straight

TAMPA, Fla. — Jameson Williams' 45-yard touchdown pass in the second half helped lift the Detroit Lions to a 20-6 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.

Jared Goff was 30-for-44 for 353 yards and two touchdowns, the other a 27-yard pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The Lions (5-1) defense help Tampa Bay, coming off a bye, to just two field goals and 2-for-12 on third downs. An deflected Baker Mayfield pass was intercepted by Will Harris in the first quarter, which resulted in Riley Patterson field goal.

The Lions did lose running back David Montgomery to a rib injury that came when he was tackled after a pass catch-and-run.

Mayfield was 19-for-37 for 205 yards and an interception for the Bucs (3-2).

Detroit travels to Baltimore next week.
