Despite being traded by Bucks earlier in day, Robin Lopez shows up at Fiserv Forum to eat popcorn and read a book
Robin Lopez showed up at Fiserv Forum on Thursday night.
Did someone not inform the 35-year-old big man that he had been traded by the Milwaukee Bucks earlier in the day?
Lopez was sent to the Sacramento Kings, but he is expected to be waived so there was no need to hop on a flight to his native California.
So what else was there to do but take in the Bucks' game against the Timberwolves?
Lopez sat with his mother right by the visiting team's bench, and he cheerily munched on popcorn before the game started.

After the game started, Lopez occupied his time by getting immersed in a good book.

It was quite a day for the big man. Lopez had some fun with the trade on X after the news broke.
Lopez replied to a fan saying he was a Kings legend with, "I just hope it's enough to get my number in the rafters I hope I left a legacy there."
The 7-foot-1 center scored 18 points and had three blocks in 65 total minutes for Milwaukee this season.
What book was Robin Lopez reading while sitting courtside?
That appears to be "Backstory 2" by Patrick McGilligan, a series of interviews with screen writers from the 1940s and 1950s.
That pairs nicely with what Lopez was reading during Bucks media day in early October, "Bogie & Bacall" by William J. Mann, about the romance between 1940s and 1950s acting legends Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart.
