Quarterback wins are not a great stat -- they obviously don't play defense or special teams, and there are many things outside their control. But, generally speaking, the quarterbacks whose teams win fewer games than they lose don't get to start for very many years.
Derek Carr had a 63-79 record in his nine years with the Raiders, and he went 9-8 in his first season with the New Orleans Saints. He can beat a couple of teams for the first time in 2024, including opportunities for payback against the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams, each of whom beat the Saints last year, as well as the Washington Commanders. He also has a revenge game coming up with the Raiders team who decided they had seen enough. He'll need to wait for his next shot at beating the Minnesota Vikings.
Here are Carr's records against every NFL team in his 10-year career:
Arizona Cardinals: 1-2
Atlanta Falcons: 1-3
The Saints will play the Falcons twice this year, in Weeks 4 (away) and 10 (home).
Baltimore Ravens: 3-1
Buffalo Bills: 2-2
