Denzel Ward throws ceremonial first pitch at Progressive Field into the stands
CLEVELAND — Browns cornerback Denzel Ward threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Guardians-New York Mets game Tuesday night at Progressive Field. And, well, it was eventful, as ceremonial first pitches go.
Ward walked to the mound and then autographed the baseball. He followed that up with his own celebration before heaving the ball over the netting behind home plate.

Most ceremonial first pitches don't end up getting chucked into the stands, but most ceremonial first pitches aren't thrown by Denzel Ward, either.
