The Daytona 500 saw a crash just 6 laps in. Some fans got mad at Brad Keselowski about it
That didn't take long.
The 2024 Daytona 500 was postponed a day by rain, and it only took six laps for the crashes to start and for NASCAR Twitter to get mad at Brad Keselowski.
Harrison Burton got hit by John Hunter Nemechek, starting a wreck out of Turn 4 that ended up taking out rookie Carson Hocevar, sliding across the grass. Ryan Preece and Kaz Grala got caught up in the mess, as were Austin Dillon and Jimmie Johnson.
Burton and Hocevar are already done for the day. Grala also was knocked out of the race.

The crash all got started by Keselowski and his aggressive driving.
Replay: Brad Keselowski got into John Hunter Nemechek, and JHN bobbled and hit Burton.
Burton then collected Hocevar and tried to slow, but came back onto the track. That's when Ryan Preece and Kaz Grala were involved. Jimmie Johnson also had a piece of it.— Jeff Gluck (@jeff_gluck) February 19, 2024
The Lap 6 crash set the stage for The Big One with fewer than 10 laps to go, and William Byron won the Daytona 500 right as another wreck broke out behind him.
