Damian Lillard trolls former Bucks teammate Malik Beasley on Instagram
Malik Beasley was clearly motivated against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
The Detroit Pistons shooting guard had his best performance of the season when he faced his former team for the first time since departing in free agency in the offseason.
But with Giannis Antetokounmpo delivering a Herculean effort, Beasley's season-high 26 points and eight three-pointers weren't enough as the Bucks won 127-120 in overtime.
Despite that, Beasley was clearly proud of his showing. He posted a video from the game to his Instagram account with the caption "good to great."
Bucks guard Damian Lillard, who didn't play in the game due to being in concussion protocol, trolled him with a reminder on the result.
"L," he replied, a comment that has drawn hundreds of likes. Lillard and Beasley were teammates for the 2023 season in Milwaukee.
Beasley shot 9 of 17 against the Bucks on Wednesday, including 50% from three-point range. He added 10 rebounds and four assists.
Beasley later replied on his post to Lillard: "We will see yall again."
