Cristiano Ronaldo's mom says she's lucky to be alive after stroke
Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, is back home after suffering a stroke two weeks ago.
In an Instagram post, Averio, 65, said she was lucky to be alive following the stroke.
A portion of that post reads, “I am lucky to have the opportunity to live to love my family and have them close to me,” according to Mirror.co.uk.
Aveiro suffered an ischemic stroke March 3. She was taken to a hospital in Madeira initially, but was eventually transferred to a private hospital to finish her recovery.
Though she’s doing better, Aveiro cannot see her son Ronaldo due to the coronavirus. Ronaldo is currently in isolation after multiple members of Juventus tested positive for coronavirus.
