Cristiano Ronaldo scores insane bicycle-kick goal in Champions League (Video)
Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest goalscorer in Champions League history. He showed precisely why on Tuesday.
The Portuguese legend scored an insane bicycle kick to give Real Madrid a 2-0 first-leg lead over Juventus in the quarterfinals:

What a player. What a goal. Juventus fans, despite seeing their Champions League dreams all but ended on home turf, couldn’t help but applaud.

Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Barzagli couldn’t help but throw their hands up and acknowledge that they had been beaten by greatness:

“It’s a Playstation goal,” Barzagli said after the game, still in defeated awe.
Some of the pictures of the goal are simply wondrous – and eerily similar to a picture of Ronaldo from training one day earlier:
Ronaldo also scored the first goal of the match in the third minute – the earliest of his 119 career Champions League goals.

That goal marked the 10th straight Champions League game in which Ronaldo found the back of the net. That’s a competition record, breaking Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s mark of nine.

Juventus’ Paulo Dybala was sent off shortly after Ronaldo’s bike. Ronaldo then set up a third goal for Marcelo, and had several chances for a hat trick. He couldn’t convert, but a 3-0 advantage will surely be enough to see Real Madrid through to the semifinals.
