The officiating during the Cincinnati Bengals' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2 was a hot topic for a few days.

Some fans and even analysts felt the game-ending penalty against the Bengals was questionable.

Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons, during an appearance on his podcast, "The Edge," said that while things did seem to favor the Chiefs, the Bengals shouldn't have been in that spot to begin with.

"That game was pretty crazy," Parsons said. "A lot of calls went both ways, and I'm going to be honest... I feel like the refs did favor the Chiefs a little bit more. But at the end of the day, you can't put the game in the refs' hands."

Kudos goes to Parsons for perhaps the most measured take on the situation to date. That late penalty that set the Chiefs up to secure a one-point win was controversial, sure.

But the Bengals had plenty of opportunities to win that game well before the officials got involved. Joe Burrow missed a big running lane while firing an incompletion, Burrow had crucial fumble, Evan McPherson missed an extra point, Andrei Iosvias dropped a key pass and there was the wild Ja'Marr Chase meltdown with the referees. -- that's just to name a few of the miscues, too.
