The Carolina Panthers have been no strangers to the loss column in recent years, just as country music star and Luke Combs has been no stranger to expressing his frustration about the team that he loves. And that, even with the start of a new campaign, seemingly hasn't changed.

On Sunday, the Panthers opened their 2024 regular season with an abysmal and embarrassing 47-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints. First-year head coach Dave Canales and company were thoroughly bested at every turn—as the offense chalked up more turnovers (three) than successful third-down conversions (one) while the defense allowed a score in each of their first nine drives.

Combs, who has previously gotten on the team earlier this year about owner David Tepper as well as their trade of Pro Bowl pass rusher Brian Burns, bleeds the Carolina black and blue. But he still couldn't help but vent out once again . . .

Oh, and he wasn't alone . . .

Well, the good news is that there's still 16 games to go. But, uh, the bad news is also that there's still 16 games to go.
