Bill O'Brien is back in the Big Ten.

After spending two seasons as Penn State football coach, replacing Joe Paterno, the former Houston Texans head coach and Alabama offensive coordinator was named Ohio State's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach under coach Ryan Day, a source told The Dispatch.

O'Brien replaces quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis on staff.
