Conor McGregor delivers some outrageous quotes in rare interview before UFC 229
Conor McGregor’s interview in anticipation of UFC 229 didn’t disappoint. The 30-year-old appeared on Ariel Helwani’s MMA show to discuss … well … a number of things. During his longer-than-expected interview, McGregor engaged in some trash talk, gave a prediction on how his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov will go and told a story about getting a tooth embedded in his finger.
It was exactly what you might expect.
The meatiest quotes came when McGregor was asked about his upcoming fight with Nurmagomedov. McGregor started by calling out Nurmagomedov’s entire team before getting specific about what he was going to do to Nurmagomedov in the Octagon.

As for McGregor’s prediction about the fight, it should come as no surprise that he thinks he’ll win in “devastating” fashion.

"I believe he's a man with a glass chin, that hasn't been cracked yet. It's been cracked a little bit, but not by a sniper rifle."

"I'm a veteran. I'm experienced. He better hope he doesn't get tired in there. A man gets weak when he gets hit by me."

Then there was the tooth story. Helwani asked McGregor if his finger was OK. He then explained that some fans thought they saw a mark on McGregor’s finger during his press event with Nurmagomedov. McGregor revealed an opponent’s tooth got embedded in his finger while sparring.

Yeah, it was that kind of conversation … only with far more expletives.
