Columbus Crew hold off Orlando City SC comeback, record 4-3 victory: Replay
Despite multiple late-game comeback attempts by Orlando City SC, the Crew were able to pick up a 4-3 victory at Lower.com Field on Saturday.
In the first half, there was only one goal scored. At the 30-minute mark, Crew forward Diego Rossi netted his third goal of the season against Orlando. He has 11 overall.
Forward Christian Ramirez extended the lead to 2-0 with a header goal off an assist from midfielder Max Arfsten in teh second half. Arfsten recorded a second assist 20 minutes later, recording the helper on striker Cucho Hernandez's goal.
Behind 3-0, Orlando City started to chip into Columbus' lead. Forward Ramiro Enrique scored his team's first goal. Orlando City scored a second when midfielder Yaw Yeboah was charged with a foul inside Columbus' box, setting up a penalty kick.
With the lead cut to 3-2, Crew forward Aziel Jackson scored his first goal with the club to give Columbus an essential insurance goal.
Forward Luis Angulo would score in stoppage time for Orlando City, but it failed to be enough to hold off a Columbus victory.

Crew goalkeeper Patrick Schulte was to the right of Columbus' goal, attempting to make a save on a shot attempt from forward Ivan Angulo. Angulo's shot attempt hit off the goalpost, ricochetting to the foot of Enrique in the middle of the box.

With a corner kick on the other side of the field, Matan executed the corner as well. Orlando City was quickly able to clear the ball up-field with a header in the box.

Arfsten sent a cross from the left side of the field to Ramirez, who was in the middle of Orlando City's box and ready to take a header shot. The header went past goalkeeper Pedro Gallese in the air, going straight toward the net.

Forward Christian Ramirez was credited with the assist, as Rossi scored off a short, up-field pass from Ramirez. Rossi's shot was contended by Orlando City defender Robin Jansson, who dived to attempt a block, but Rossi was able to get the ball past Jansson and goalkeeper Pedro Gallese.
Rossi has scored the last three goals for Columbus against Orlando City. In the Crew's 2-0 victory over Orlando City in May, Rossi scored both goals.

According to AccuWeather, the temperature in Columbus will be around 85 degrees at the time of kick off at Lower.com Field.
With the expectation of hot weather before and during the game, there have been Crew fans who have taken to social media to address the fact that people attending the match are unable to bring their own water bottles into Lower.com Field. This has been a policy, and something fans have addressed, throughout the summer.
