Columbus Crew host team send-off for fans ahead of CONCACAF Champions Cup final

The Crew are hosting a team send-off on Thursday, May 30 before heading to Pachuca, Mexico for the club's first ever appearance in the CONCACAF Champions Cup final on Saturday, June 1.

Taking place at Lane Aviation at John Glenn Columbus Airport, fans are invited to arrive at 1:15 p.m., with the team's arrival scheduled for 2:00 p.m. There will be "a live DJ, fan chants and more."

Following the send-off, the Crew will fly down to Pachuca, where they will take on the Liga MX club CF Pachuca for the Champions Cup trophy. The only MLS team to ever win the title was the Seattle Sounders in 2022.

Unlike the earlier rounds of the tournament, which were two-game series with home-and-home legs, the final is decided by one winner-take-all all match.
