Similar to the title matchup, both teams are going into the regular-season game in top shape, riding a four-game winning streak. LAFC is in first place for the Western Conference standings, while the Crew are in third for the Eastern Conference and are still needing to catch up in games played.

"It’s two teams that are in a great run of form," said Crew forward Christian Ramirez. "They have been one of the hottest teams over the last eight or nine games. So, they found a good rhythm, as we have. So, it’s a good time for this matchup, and I know it’s an exciting matchup around the league.”
