Colts vs. Jets: Danny Pinter of Ball State catches a touchdown pass

Indianapolis Colts guard Danny Pinter (63) scores his career-first touchdown Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, during a game against the New York Jets at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Colts were beating the New York Jets so badly Thursday night, the offensive line had to get in on the action.

Danny Pinter's first career catch goes for a 2-yard touchdown from Carson Wentz as the Colts led the Jets 35-10 in the third quarter.

Pinter is familiar with catching passes. The Ball State and South Bend Adams High Schooalum had 9 college catches, including a TD in 2017.

He made the transition to the offensive line as a senior, and the Colts drafted him in the 5th round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Pinter often lines up as an eligible receiver for the Colts, but a pass finally came his way.
