Colorado women’s basketball sets attendance record in loss to UCLA

An all-time program record 11,338 fans packed the CU Events Center on Friday evening to witness the No. 3 Colorado women’s basketball team battle No. 5 UCLA.

While the 76-68 final score went in favor of UCLA, the sellout crowd was another sign of the buzz surrounding this talented Buffaloes team. The 11,338 fans in attendance marked the fifth sellout in program history and the third-largest crowd ever for a Colorado basketball home game — men’s or women’s.

Up next, Colorado hosts No. 6 USC on Sunday, a matchup that should draw another large audience.
