Colin Kaepernick, Kobe Bryant watched Naomi Osaka at US Open
Naomi Osaka had no trouble beating Magda Linette in Round 2 of the US Open, but she had a tremendous amount of support sitting in her player box just in case she needed it.
Both Colin Kapernick and Kobe Bryant came to watch Osaka play on Thursday, and the two found a moment to commiserate while Osaka was dismantling her opponent on the court.

Osaka was thrilled that Kaepernick and Bryant had come to see her play. But with the the hot weather and the sun beating down, she was more concerned for their wellbeing than anything else (other than winning, that is).
"It's really cool," a victorious Naomi Osaka said about Kobe Bryant and Colin Kaepernick, "but honestly I really wanted to finish as fast as possible because I didn't want them to stay in the sun too long." #USOpen
