Don’t worry Browns fans, tight end David Njoku has the team and city’s back.

During a roundtable prior to the Madden Game at the Pro Bowl Games over the weekend, Dallas defensive lineman Michah Parsons took a shot at the Browns referring to Cleveland being Cleveland.

"One thing you got to understand is Cleveland is Cleveland, but we’re both here,” Njoku said referring to the Pro Bowl Weekend in Orlando.

Any other football player on a team playing in February arrived in Las Vegas Sunday. Take note: Michah Parsons wasn’t one of them.

“We’re both here. Both playing the Madden Game,” Njoku continued. “You’ve got to make it make sense.”

After some banter back and forth, Njoku asks a fundamental question.

“What are you saying ‘Cleveland is Cleveland,’ and ‘Dallas is Dallas,” he asked.

That statement forced Parsons’ hand and forcing him to admit the teams were in the same predicament.

Well, yeah, considering the Cowboys, who went into the playoffs the NFC’s No. 2 seed and lost to the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers in an embarrassing fashion, 48-32, Njoku made a valid point.

The Cowboys haven’t exactly set the postseason afire, winning four playoff games in the past 25 years. But there is a certain attitude that comes with that blue star. It was a welcome moment to watch Njoku defend his team and, by association, Northeast Ohio.
