Browns left guard Joel Bitonio left Saturday’s AFC wild card game against the Houston Texans with an apparent ankle injury

Bitonio’s right leg was rolled up on by Houston Texans defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins at 14:24 of the second quarter with the Browns going in for a go-ahead touchdown.

Michael Dunn filled his spot on the line, but Bitonio returned to the game with 1:11 left in the first half.

Bitonio did not practice Wednesday, was limited Thursday and participated fully Friday.

Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil suffers knee injury vs. Browns

Houston has offensive line issues of its own. Left tackle Laremy Tunsil injured his knee in the second quarter on an extra point attempt.

On the play, Texans lineman Josh Jones fell onto the back of Tunsil's leg. After the play, Tunsil stayed down for an extended period of time. NBC's Kathryn Tappen, who is on sideline reporting duty, said Tunsil was in the medical tent for 10 minutes.

Tunsil missed three games earlier this season with an injury to the same knee.

Tunsil returned to the game with 10:17 left in the second quarter.
