Former Streetsboro High School and Ohio State defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. has signed his contract with the Cleveland Browns, the team announced Friday.

Hall, who turns 21 Thursday, was selected by the Browns in the second round of April's draft with the No. 54 overall pick. He was the first of six picks for Cleveland in the draft.

Hall was the last of the six to sign his contract. The other five — Michigan offensive guard Zak Zinter, Louisville wide receiver Jamari Thrash, Mississippi State linebacker Nathaniel Watson, South Dakota cornerback Myles Harden and Cincinnati defensive tackle Jovon Briggs — signed on May 10, the first day of rookie minicamp.

Hall has been an active participant in both the Browns' rookie minicamp and the voluntary offseason program. The Browns will conduct their mandatory minicamp next Tuesday through Thursday before taking roughly a month off ahead of training camp.

During his time at Ohio State, Hall appeared in 28 games (11 starts) with 45 career tackles, 10 tackles for loss and six sacks. He had a career-high 24 tackles in his final year with the Buckeyes.

Cleveland Browns sign former Ohio State G Wyatt Davis, waive DT Jayden Peevy

Hall wasn't the only former Ohio State Buckeye to sign with the Browns on Friday. Offensive guard Wyatt Davis signed as a free agent.

Davis is in his fourth season in the NFL. He originally was a third-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2021.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Davis appeared in nine career games with the Vikings (2021), Giants (2022), Saints (2022) and Cardinals (2022). His grandfather is Pro Football Hall of Famer Willie Davis.

In a corresponding move, the Browns waived defensive tackle Jayden Peevy.
