CLEMSON – Tavoy Feagin just can't wait.

Feagin, a four-star cornerback from Tampa, Florida, was the first player to commit to Clemson's 2024 recruiting class way back in November 2022.

He was No. 1 again Wednesday, emerging as the first player to submit his signed National Letter of Intent at 7:01 a.m. to kick off the Tigers' early signing day.

By the time the dust settled and the ink dried, Clemson had signed 22 players in what by any measure would be considered the latest in a long line of highly regarded recruiting classes. Clemson's assemblage was ranked 15th according to 247Sports, assuring Coach Dabo Swinney a Top 20 class for a 14th consecutive year.

Clemson, which boasted the top recruiting class in the ACC in five of the past six years, slipped in comparison to its league brethren as both Florida State and Miami rated Top 10 recruiting classes, but the Tigers were far from bereft of talent. The Tigers' haul included two five-star players – linebacker Sammy Brown and wide receiver Bryant Wesco – as well as 11 athletes rated as four-star talents by 247Sports.

Swinney’s class included six defensive backs – three safeties and three cornerbacks – four offensive linemen and three linebackers. There were two wide receivers, two defensive tackles, two defensive ends and one running back, one tight end and one place-kicker.

The state of Georgia continued to be a hotbed for Clemson’s recruiting, with seven signees hailing from the Peach State. Five are from Florida and two from Texas.
