(This story was updated to add new information.)

PITTSBURGH — Clemson football defensive lineman Peter Woods is active for Saturday's game vs. Pitt.

Woods, who missed last week's game with a head injury, made the Tigers' travel roster and was listed as a captain for the game. is not on the team's travel roster. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said Wednesday that there was a good chance Woods would return after he was hit in the head on a kick-out block against Louisville in Week 10.

Tigers linebacker Wade Woodaz made the travel roster, but he is expected to be out Saturday with a leg injury, per Clemson athletics. He came out in sweats pregame while other players warmed up. Clemson will be without its leading tackler, and freshman linebacker Sammy Brown, who made his first career start last week, will likely fill in for him.

Tate did not play last week against Virginia Tech despite traveling with the team, and Leigh suffered an injury on the game's opening drive vs. the Hokies. Harris Sewell and freshman Elyjah Thurmon will likely fill in for both starters.

Other Clemson players who are not on the travel roster are defensive lineman DeMonte Capehart, cornerback Shelton Lewis and wide receiver Tyler Brown.

No. 16 Clemson (7-2, 6-1 ACC) faces the Panthers (7-2, 3-2) on Saturday (noon ET, ESPN) at Acrisure Stadium.
