Clemson football adds 4-star quarterback Blake Hebert to 2025 recruiting class
Clemson football's 2025 recruiting class has another addition: Quarterback Blake Hebert committed to the Tigers on Friday. The four-star prospect out of Lawrence, Massachusetts, chose Clemson over Notre Dame, Auburn and others.
Hebert is the No. 1 player in Massachusetts and the No. 11 quarterback in his class, according to 247Sports Composite. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound quarterback participated in one of coach Dabo Swinney's camps on June 1 and received an offer that day.
Hebert joins running back Gideon Davidson as the first two commitments in Clemson's 2025 class. Davidson, a four-star prospect out of Virginia and the No. 4 running back in the class, committed to the Tigers on Wednesday.

Hebert's commitment is a big win at the quarterback position. Clemson has offered four highly touted quarterbacks in the 2024 class, but none chose the Tigers. It's still fairly early in the recruiting cycle, and Clemson has time to find a 2024 quarterback. Plus, Clemson is in good shape at the position with sophomore Cade Klubnik preparing to take the starting role and a four-star freshman in Christopher Vizzina behind him. Adding Hebert is a step toward shoring up Clemson's future depth at quarterback.
