The Oklahoman’s Class 2A championship picks

Jordan Davis: Midwest City. The Bombers have been on a tear in Torey Noel's first season as head coach, winning 11 consecutive games heading into the tournament. Midwest City has one of the highest paced offenses in the state thanks to its dynamic duo of Roy Henderson and OSU commit Carlsheon Young. The Bombers are battle tested in several classes and remain unbeaten in 5A.

Hallie Hart: Midwest City. First-year coach Torey Noel is leading a total turnaround to restore Midwest City’s winning tradition. The Bombers showed incredible perseverance in the area championship against Guthrie as multiple bench players stepped up.
