Christian Pulisic's left-arm tattoo is so America it hurts
Anyone who’s watched Christian Pulisic play for the United States can’t possibly question his commitment to his country. His work rate and willingness to embrace physical play is readily apparent.
As it turns out, he wears his pride on his sleeve. Like, he actually does. All the time.
Shortly after being substituted off during the USMNT’s 4-0 thrashing of Panama on Friday, ESPN’s television cameras glimpsed a shirtless Pulisic on the bench, and a tattoo on his left upper-arm caught everybody’s attention:

Yes, that appears to be a giant bald eagle in front of a giant American flag.
Thanks in large part to Pulisic, the United States is nearly guaranteed to qualify for the World Cup next summer in Russia. How the Yanks do from there is anyone’s guess.
But it won’t be for lack of effort. Especially not from Pulisic.
