Who's ready for more jokes about how the Kansas City Chiefs were disrespected during their Super Bowl 57 title run?

Well, tune into "Saturday Night Live" on March 4 and you might hear some more, because All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce will be hosting NBC's late-night comedy show.

"Growing up, I was a huge (Chris) Farley, (Will) Ferrell, (Jimmy) Fallon, kind of guy growing up," Kelce said during an appearance on "The Tonight Show." "It's an absolute honor and a privilege to be hosting 'SNL' on March 4."

Country singer Kelsea Ballerini will be the musical guest on the "SNL" show Kelce hosts.

What makes Travis Kelce so funny?

Kelce is known for his wild rants, usually after big wins by the Chiefs.

After the Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57, Kelce called out the doubters.

"Not one of y’all said the Chiefs were gonna take it home this year, not a single one," Kelce shouted into Erin Andrews' Fox microphone. "Next time the Chiefs say something, put some respect on our name."

(It should be noted that five of six USA TODAY Sports experts predicted that the Chiefs would win Super Bowl 57. Before the 2022 NFL season started, five of seven USA TODAY Sports experts predicted that the Chiefs would win the AFC West.)

After the Chiefs' win over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC championship game, Kelce channeled The Rock in his postgame interview with CBS. Kelce relayed a message to Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval, who in a video in the week leading up to the game, said city officials asked Bengals QB Joe Burrow to take a paternity test to see if he was Patrick Mahomes’ father after the three previous wins by the Bengals over the Chiefs.

"Know your role, and shut your mouth, you jabroni!" Kelce yelled during the AFC championship trophy ceremony.

Travis and his brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, also host a popular podcast called "New Heights."

Who was the last athlete to host SNL?

The most recent athlete to host "Saturday Night Live" was J.J. Watt, then of the Houston Texans. Watt hosted the show on Feb. 1, 2020.

In 2012, Eli Manning, then a Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the New York Giants, showed a preview of his ManningCast comedy chops by hosting "SNL." Peyton Manning hosted "SNL" in 2007, and Tom Brady hosted the show in 2005. Both quarterbacks also were coming off Super Bowl wins.

Other NFL stars to host "SNL" are: Deion Sanders (1995), Joe Montana and Walter Payton (1987), Alex Karras (1985), John Madden (1982), O.J. Simpson (1978) and Fran Tarkenton (1977).
