Check out the best social media reactions to Texas A&M’s 34-24 win over Mississippi State
Even though Texas A&M defeated Mississippi State by 10 points, it was a sloppy game. With Mississippi selling out to stop the run, starting quarterback Conner Weigman did not take advantage. His footwork was a little erratic, causing a few overthrows, and he had more interceptions than touchdowns.
Fortunately, the Aggies played strong defense, and the running game churned out some tough yards when needed. The Bulldogs put up a great fight and will give many teams problems for the rest of the season. It was a grind, but A&M remains unbeaten in SEC play and will host 6-1 LSU for a critical home matchup next week.
The SEC is wide open this season. If the Aggies can learn and improve from this game, they will be in a position to play for an SEC title and make the college football playoffs. However, a performance like this Saturday will not cut it against the better teams in the nation.

Tough game against a tough team on the road
That's a tough win. State and Van Buren wanted that one at home and turned it into a fistfight. Ags are 3-0 away from Kyle Field in the SEC and have set up big-time showdown with LSU next week.
