What channel is UNC vs. NC Central on today? Time, TV schedule for Week 3 game
After a tougher-than-expected, 38-20 victory over Charlotte last weekend, the North Carolina Tar Heels should get a much easier test in NC Central this evening.
UNC will host the Eagles at 6 p.m., the second of three straight games inside Kenan Stadium. Despite North Carolina's tendency to play plenty of in-state opponents, today will be its inaugural matchup against NC Central.
The Tar Heels dealt with several notable injuries last week, most notably Kaimon Rucker, who we learned will miss several games due to a lower-body injury. Omarion Hampton missed the second half, but he could've returned and should be good to go today.
Today will give UNC a great opportunity to rest its stars for ACC play, allowing younger players to shine in the process. Will we see another big play from freshman Christian Hamilton, or one of Rucker's replacements shine?
We've also seen crazy instances of FCS teams pulling off unthinkable upsets. Remember when The Citadel marched into Columbia and upset South Carolina?
I feel confident North Carolina will be prepared enough to avoid an embarrassing upset, but NC Central is also likely eager to prove it can trade punches.
Here's all the broadcast information you need to know for today's evening kickoff.
