What channel is Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings today in Week 18? Time, TV schedule
The Detroit Lions wrap up their most successful regular season in 30 years when they host the teetering Minnesota Vikings in Week 18 of the NFL season.
This is the second meeting between the division rivals in three weeks: The Lions clipped the Vikings, 30-24, on Christmas Eve in Minneapolis, a historic victory to secure their first division title since 1993. They'll go for their first playoff win since 1991 next week in their first home playoff game since '93 and the first-ever at Ford Field.
But first, the regular season finale.
The Lions (11-5) enter off a devastating 20-19 loss in Dallas, which will all-but-certainly cost them the No. 2 seed and a locked-in second home playoff game, should they win in the wild-card round next weekend. They can tie the franchise mark for wins in the regular season with a victory, but need a win and both Dallas and Philadelphia to lose to move up from the No. 3 seed to the 2-seed. The Lions will be without receiver Jameson Williams (ankle) but do return safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

Minnesota (7-9) has lost three straight and five of six. It is turning back to Nick Mullens at quarterback, after he was the backup last week but relieved a struggling Jaren Hall in a 33-10 home loss to Green Bay. Mullens threw for 411 yards vs. the Lions and two touchdowns, but also tossed four interceptions, including the game-ender to Ifeatu Melifonwu.
The Vikings have a 3% chance to make the playoffs, according to the New York Times, needing a win and losses by Seattle, Green Bay and either New Orleans or Tampa Bay.
The Lions are expected to play their starters, wanting in part to wipe the disdain of last Saturday's loss away and enter the playoffs feeling good.
The Lions are 5-2 at home; the Vikings are 5-3 on the road.
