Auburn football likely wants to get the taste out of its mouth from last week's Oklahoma game.

The Tigers (2-3, 0-2 SEC) led No. 17 Oklahoma for much of the game, but a Payton Thorne pick-six with 4:31 remaining in the game, which gave the Sooners their first lead of the game in what was ultimately a 26-21 defeat to the Sooners. It was the first and only turnover for the Tigers, one week after they doomed them against Arkansas.

Auburn could have a difficult time bouncing back against another team looking to improve its performance from a week ago. No. 5 Georgia is looking to get back on track following a 41-34 loss to Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The Bulldogs trailed 28-0 but fought back to take a fourth-quarter lead before Alabama scored a go-ahead touchdown and sealed the game with an interception of Carson Beck.

Georgia leads the all-time series with Auburn, also known as the "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry," 64-56-8, including a 27-20 victory in Auburn last season.
