The 2024 NBA Draft opens on Wednesday in Brooklyn, N.Y., the first year of the two-day format.

The Memphis Grizzlies currently own the No. 9 overall pick, which puts them on the edge of picking up one of the better players in a draft that features uncertainty at the top.

As of Wednesday morning, three players had 7-1 odds or lower to be selected No. 1 overall by the Atlanta Hawks — French center Alexandre Sarr, UConn center Donovan Clingan and betting favorite Zaccharie Risacher.

That uncertainty makes plotting the Grizzlies' possible choices at No. 9 overall a challenging task before Wednesday night.

The second round will take place Thursday, and the Grizzlies have the No. 39 and No. 57 overall picks.
