Celtics announce Jaylen Brown concussed, avoided other structural damage from scary fall
The Boston Celtics announced on Saturday that wing Jaylen Brown suffered a concussion during a frightening fall Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves where he slipped off the rim and fell on his head and neck.

He will miss Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, but the good news is that he did not suffer any further damage to his body.
MassLive.com reports that Brown underwent testing on his neck and back and that head coach Brad Stevens does not expect him to play at all in the next week.
The Target Center crowd went silent with players on both benches showing concern when Brown took the fall and laid on the court for several minutes. Medics brought out a stretcher for Brown, but he was eventually able to get to his feet and walk off the court with assistance.
