Cavs to mark 30 years at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse when they play Lebron James and Lakers
A trucker cap, a coloring book and bobbleheads are among the highlights of the Cleveland Cavaliers promotional schedule this season.
The NBA team announced its 2024-25 promotional schedule that includes giveaways, theme nights and other celebrations at home games at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.
The Cavs will open the season on Friday, Oct. 25, against the Detroit Pistons. Fans that night will get a free T-shirt.
The team plans to celebrate 30 years of playing in the downtown arena on Oct. 30 when the Los Angeles Lakers and that "Just a Kid from Akron" is in town.
There will be three bobblehead nights this season:
A Myles Garrett bobblehead will be given out at the Dec. 3 game against the Washington Wizards.
Fan favorite Donovan Mitchell will be featured in a bobblehead in the Feb. 4 game against the Boston Celtics.
And Max Strus' 59-foot, game-winning shot against the Dallas Mavericks last season will be commemorated with a bobblehead at the April 2 game against the New York Nets.
