Cavs injury report today for Game 7: Jarrett Allen out for the Cavaliers vs. Magic
The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without starting center Jarrett Allen for Game 7 of their first-round NBA playoffs series vs. the Orlando Magic. He is out with a rib contusion suffered earlier in the series.
Saturday, he'd been listed as questionable to play in Game 7. When asked during pregame media availability late Sunday morning whether Allen would be available to play, Cavs coach J.B. Bickerstaff said, "We'll see."
Then about a half hour before tipoff Sunday, the Cavs officially ruled out Allen.
Allen will miss his third consecutive game with the injury. Bickerstaff said Allen took an elbow to the ribs in Game 4. Allen totaled 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting to go with nine rebounds in that game.
