Alvarez took down Golovkin by majority decision in September, ending his rival’s reign as the unified middleweight champion and cement himself as one of boxing’s biggest draws. Even by moving up a weight class to super middleweight, he’ll likely be a massive favorite against Fielding.
Fielding currently stands at 27-1 and captured the WBA (regular) super middleweight belt with a win over Tyron Zeuge in July.
