Canadiens: All Abord The Lane Train

The Montreal Canadiens are having a tough time in Boston against the Bruins tonight. After 40 minutes, the black-and-gold outfit is leading 5-2 and is dominating in pretty much all statistical categories.

However, there is one thing the Bruins cannot take away from Canadiens' fans; it's their brand shiny new defenseman Lane Hutson. In the first frame, the diminutive blueliner was instrumental in the Habs' two goals, giving him four points in his first four NHL games. Let's just say he's in a great category when it comes to the most points recorded by a player under 21 in their first four games:

While last night's game was a treat for the Tricolore faithful, tonight's game is harder to watch. The Bruins make it painfully obvious just how much better they are than the Canadiens, but at least the fans can all just jump onto the Lane train.

Even that won't be perfect, though. There will be some growing pains, even if only figuratively speaking, but it's obvious it will all be worth it in the end.
