Calvin Ridley, top free agent WR available, to sign with Tennessee Titans | Source
The Tennessee Titans have landed the biggest name in the wide receiver market this free agent cycle by signing former Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Tennessean.
Ridley's contract was in a unique situation because of the trade the Jaguars had made with the Falcons to acquire him in 2022. The Jaguars would've had to give the Falcons a second-round pick had they re-signed Ridley prior to Wednesday but only a third-round pick for re-signing him after Wednesday. A source told The Tennessean this hitch in Ridley's contract allowed other teams to remain competitive with Ridley, but the Titans weren't one of the main contenders until late in the process.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Ridley's deal is worth up to $92 million over four years with $50 million fully guaranteed.

Ridley, 29, caught 76 passes for 1,016 yards with the Jaguars last season. A former first-round pick out of Alabama, Ridley has caught 324 passes for 4,358 yards and 36 touchdowns in his career. Ridley only played five games in 2021 before stepping away for mental health reasons and was suspended the entirety of the 2022 season for violating the NFL's gambling policy. In 2020, his last full season before 2023, he set career highs with 90 catches and 1,374 yards.

Ridley was regarded as the best available wide receiver in this year's free agent class. With an average annual value of roughly $23 million, Ridley is now one of the 10 highest-paid receivers in the NFL.
Ridley joins a Titans free agent signing class that also includes running back Tony Pollard, offensive linemen Lloyd Cushenberry and Saahdiq Charles, linebacker Kenneth Murray, cornerback Chidobe Awuzie and quarterback Mason Rudolph. The Titans have also resigned kicker Nick Folk, long snapper Morgan Cox and running back Julius Chestnut and tendered an exclusive rights free agent offer to linebacker Jack Gibbens.
