Caitlin Clark declares for 2024 WNBA draft. Indiana Fever and their fans are thrilled.
Indiana Fever fans can dream ... and they are dreaming.
With Caitlin Clark's decision to enter this year's WNBA Draft, fans are considering what could lie ahead with two consecutive No. 1 overall picks on the roster.
Aliyah Boston was the 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year, averaging 15.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. The Fever (13-27) improved, though they didn't make the playoffs.
With the NCAA women's basketball career scoring leader on board, Fever fans are excited. And more Indianapolis sports fans like the thought of cheering Clark, Boston, Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers and Anthony Richardson of the Colts for years to come.
Of course, the Fever haven't said they would pick Clark No. 1 overall on April 15, but is there any other realistic possibility?
