Caitlin Clark buzzer beater closely resembles Reggie Miller shot for Pacers from 25 years ago
Iowa's Caitlin Clark beat Indiana women's basketball on Sunday with a catch-turn-and-shoot 3-pointer from the right wing.
Ever seen a game-winner like that? Indiana Pacers fans have.
Check out the similarities between Clark's shot and Reggie Miller's in the 1998 Eastern Conference finals against the Chicago Bills. Both start opposite the passer on the sideline, receive picks, are involved in a little contact, catch the ball, quickly turn, shoot and win the game.
Clark and Miller both celebrated plenty after their game-winners, too. Clark runs off the court toward Hawkeyes fans. Miller sprints to the other end of the court, spinning several times for good measure.
Miller approves of the comparison. He retweeted it.
