Thursday night’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings wasn’t without controversy. In the final two minutes, Byron Young sacked Sam Darnold in the end zone but as he was tackling the quarterback, he clearly grabbed his facemask.

No flag was thrown, though.

Young ran off with his hands on his head, almost expecting to be penalized 15 yards on a crucial play in the game. Still, no flag.

A lot of people noticed Young’s reaction on the field, sharing screenshots and clips of his hands on his helmet after the play. He had a hilarious response to one of those images on X (formerly Twitter), joking that it was just really loud inside the stadium.

Sometimes calls go your way, and sometimes they don't. This one certainly went Young and the Rams' way, helping end any potential comeback by the Vikings.
