BATON ROUGE — LSU football is just a month away from opening the 2024 season.

Entering head coach Brian Kelly's third campaign, the Tigers will kickoff the season Sunday, Sept. 1 in Las Vegas against the USC Trojans as part of the Vegas Kickoff Classic (6:30 p.m. CT, ABC).

LSU, coming off a 10-win season highlighted by quarterback Jayden Daniels winning the Heisman Trophy, was picked to finish fifth this season in the new look Southeastern Conference, which officially added two new member schools, Texas and Oklahoma, this summer.

The Tigers' 2024 football schedule features the season-opening neutral site game against one of college football's biggest brands in USC in Las Vegas. Their other two biggest games take place at Tiger Stadium when they host Ole Miss on Oct. 12 and later Alabama on Nov. 9.
